Catbox Games is a website for playing homemade browser games. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit catbox.party and how it may be used.

Information we collect

The website does not currently require an account or ask you to submit personal information. Our hosting provider may automatically process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, and the time of your visit, to deliver and protect the website.

Online games

Online games use Cloudflare to create a temporary room and help two browsers establish an encrypted WebRTC connection. WebRTC may reveal each player's public IP address to the other player as part of creating a peer-to-peer connection. If a relay is needed, encrypted game traffic may pass through Cloudflare's TURN service. Anyone with a room link can try to join that room, so only share invite links with people you trust.

Local storage and cookies

Individual games may use browser storage to remember settings, scores, or game progress on your device. If cookies or similar technologies are added for analytics or advertising, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Advertising

Catbox Games does not currently display advertising. Advertising partners may be added in the future. If that happens, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant services and explain their data practices and your available choices.

Third-party links

The website may link to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Children's privacy

Catbox Games is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact us so we can review the concern.
